Course Director, Clive has worked in teacher education and is experienced in planning and delivering Higher Education courses. He has a B.A. Hons in Education and M.A. in Philosophy.
As a musician he has played drums in jazz, blues, rock & pop bands and successfully organised and performed in weekly jazz clubs in London, featuring top jazz players including Kenny Wheeler, Jean Tousaint and Peter King. He has been promoter for the Waltham Forest Jazz Festival and organised concerts through Waltham Forest Arts Council and the London Arts Board. He initiated and has organised the Mediterannean Jazz Summer School in the South of France, since 1996 and the Afro-Cuban Jazz and Music School in Havana, Cuba since February 2003.
